Cấu trúc đề thi IELTS Speaking

Part 1: Introduction and Interview (4-5 phút)

• Nội dung: Thí sinh trả lời các câu hỏi cơ bản về bản thân, gia đình, công việc, sở thích hoặc các chủ đề quen thuộc như:
  • Hobbies: “Do you have any hobbies?”
  • Hometown: “Can you describe your hometown?”
  • Study/Work: “What do you do? Are you a student or do you work?”
• Mục tiêu: Kiểm tra khả năng trả lời tự nhiên và lưu loát trong các chủ đề gần gũi.

Part 2: Long Turn (3-4 phút)

• Nội dung: Thí sinh sẽ nhận được một chủ đề (cue card) với các gợi ý cần nói. Ví dụ:
  • Describe a place you would like to visit.
  • You should say:

• Nội dung: Trọng tâm là thảo luận sâu hơn về chủ đề trong Phần 2. Giám khảo sẽ đặt các câu hỏi mang tính phân tích và mở rộng, ví dụ:
  • What are the benefits of traveling to new places?
  • How has tourism changed in recent years?
• Mục tiêu: Đánh giá khả năng phân tích, diễn đạt ý kiến cá nhân, và xử lý các câu hỏi phức tạp hơn.

Tiêu chí chấm điểm

1. Fluency and Coherence (Độ lưu loát và mạch lạc): Khả năng nói trôi chảy và tổ chức ý tưởng logic.
2. Lexical Resource (Vốn từ vựng): Sử dụng từ ngữ phong phú, phù hợp với ngữ cảnh.
3. Grammatical Range and Accuracy (Ngữ pháp): Đa dạng cấu trúc câu và độ chính xác ngữ pháp.
4. Pronunciation (Phát âm): Phát âm rõ ràng, dễ hiểu và ngữ điệu tự nhiên.

Lưu ý khi thi IELTS Speaking

• Không cần phải sử dụng từ vựng phức tạp nếu bạn không chắc chắn. Sử dụng từ đơn giản nhưng chính xác sẽ hiệu quả hơn.
• Hãy trả lời chi tiết thay vì chỉ nói một câu ngắn.
• Duy trì eye contact với giám khảo để tạo sự tự tin.
