Overview: Nêu những đặc điểm khái quát. Trong dạng bài này, người viết cần nêu ra những đặc điểm xu hướng tổng quan và những đối tượng nổi bật như:
- Người lớn dành phần lớn thời gian làm việc
- Phần trăm thời gian dành cho việc thư giãn, ngủ và đi chơi giảm, trong khi thời gian cho những việc còn lại tăng
Body: Mô tả cụ thể và chi tiết.

The charts illustrate how working adults allocated their time for different activities in a country in 1958 and 2008.
Overall, working adults spent the majority of their time working, while traveling to work and going out took up the least amount of time in 1958 and 2008, respectively. Furthermore, while the time spent on relaxing, sleeping, and going out decreased, the opposite was true for the other activities.
In 1958, working occupied almost a third of the day (33%), while sleeping accounted for slightly less time (32%). At that time, socializing with friends and family made up 19% of the total amount of leisure time. Only 16% of time was devoted to the remaining activities, including commuting to work, relaxing at home, and pursuing other interests or playing sports.
50 years later, the amount of time spent working rose by 9%, whereas that spent sleeping fell by 7%. While travel time to work experienced a fourfold increase to 8%, the amount of time allocated to going out has significantly dropped to 6%. The amount of time spent unwinding at home and engaging in sports or other hobbies went up by 5% and 2%, respectively.

- devote time to doing something: spend time on doing something (dành thời gian làm gì)
- pursue an interest: have an interest in something and spend time doing it (theo đuổi đam mê)
- fourfold [a]: four times as big or as much (gấp 4 lần)
- unwind [v]: to relax and allow your mind to be free from worry after a period of work or some other activity that has made you worried (thư giãn)
- engage in something [v]: take part in something (tham gia vào việc gì)
